In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Electrolux Home Products, Inc. is voluntarily recalling certain Frigidaire Electric Smoothtop Cooktops and Slide-in Ranges and Electrolux ICON Electric Smoothtop Cooktops with rotary knobs and digital displays. Liquids pooling under the control knob can cause the surface heating element to turn on unexpectedly, heat to temperatures other than expected and then not turn off, posing a risk of fire and burn hazards to consumers.
